My approach to therapy is mindful, integrative and relational. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist is the key to healing. I strive to create a safe, supportive and comfortable environment where difficult issues can be discussed in confidentiality.
There is no single approach that works for everyone. Therefore, I combine different theories and techniques, and the sessions will be tailored specifically to your individual needs and existing strengths.
I believe that clients are the experts of their lives. Through mindful awareness, we will discover the blocks or obstacles that are hindering you to achieve your full potential.

Therapy focuses on the here-and-now experience, which is sharing the honest thoughts, feelings and emotions about what’s happening in the present moment. Here-and-now is based on the idea that the client’s interpersonal issues and blocks eventually emerge in the therapeutic relationship (Yalom). By focusing on these as they arise, you understand the underlying roots of your problems. We then work with these issues as they happen in the here-and-now, leading to new perspectives.
Some of the techniques include but not limited to:
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Gestalt Therapy
• Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
• Spiritual Psychologies
A phone consultation gives you the opportunity to understand the way I work and see if you feel comfortable with the process. In this 20-minutes session, we discuss your needs and lay out the foundations of how we can work together. You will then be able to decide if you would like to start with therapy.
